Using positive staff language to support anoutstanding learning environment

Students’ written and spoken language is hugely affected by the language of adults around them. The course will ensure delegates understand the effect of language in the classroom on students. It will also demonstrate effective strategies which will improve both adult and student language to support a climate for learning. The session will look at how classroom leads should model language, and how they can correct the use of poor language within the classroom. Please note this is not an English specific course, but a session that will support literacy across all subjects through ensuring adults can model the right languages in the classroom and ensure a positive learning environment.
