Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation: delivering the National Curriculum

Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation (SPaG) is a core focus of the national curriculum, and it is crucial that teaching assistants understand recent changes and expectations so that they can support children from Year 1 – Year 6 with their spelling, punctuation and grammar skills. This one day course offers delegates the opportunity to acquire an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the SPaG curriculum and key terminology to build confidence. Please note this course has two separate dates, one with KS1 content and one with KS2 content. Delegates will also be inspired with practical and interactive ways to support pupils with SPaG across the curriculum, and discuss and share good practice with colleagues from a range of primary schools.
