We are adopting a strategic approach to achieve a culture of research and development. We are beginning to identify embedded practice with the greatest impact on progress and attainment of pupils living in prolonged and extreme socio-economic disadvantage compared to solutions thathave had significant, but only short term, impact.
As part of this, we are establishing learning groups across a team to undertake research using an agreed research methodology. The agreed focus for each group will be linked directly with the schools’ development plans and will form the basis of CPD for staff.
