From primary ITT to NQT: support for subject knowledge

This year, the Trinity TSA is offering Primary School Direct subject knowledge sessions as part of our CPD package, in order to support NQTs who may lack confidence in a certain area of the curriculum, and who may need to further develop their subject knowledge and pedagogy in the core subjects.

This is a unique and valuable opportunity for NQTs to enhance their teaching of English, Maths and Science, as well as PE, through a ‘pick and mix style’ approach. It aims to complement their ITT training as well as their in-house NQT Induction. Please note that the calendar below is provisional, and your session will be confirmed at the time of booking.

The table below shows each of the topics available, schools are invited to book as many or as few of the sessions as required. Block booking discounts are available – please contact the TTSA for further information.
