EYFS in rain or shine! Harnessing the power of the outdoor environment

The beneficial impact of outdoor play and learning is well documented. This insightful course centres on how schools and settings can develop their outdoor learning provision, regardless of level of outdoor facilities! You do not need to have a forest or field on your school doorstep.

This session will cover how you can plan your existing provision, to design and create quality outdoor environments and also covers how you can manage expectations. With advice from experts, delegates will look at providing continuous provision for children and managing access on a practical level. Working as a play partner and genuinely extending numeracy and literacy in the outdoors are also covered in the insightful course.
