Coaching for outstanding teaching and learning

Coaching is a successful and powerful technique that helps leaders and managers get the very most from their staff. This course, made up of two half day sessions, looks at the role of the coach in ensuring teachers can deliver outstanding teaching and learning. It focuses on how this can be achieved through a clear focus on targets and goals, and creating a culture where staff are open to continued personal learning and development. Delegates who act in a coaching role will understand how they can mentor staff so that they can identify solutions to problems, take greater ownership and responsibility and develop strategies that support continuous improvement towards a shared goal of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
